The ideal candidate will have previous supervisory or deputy experience within a similar operation and possess a sound working knowledge of housekeeping management. With responsibility for up to 30 employees, staff development and ensuring high levels of customer service, excellent communication and people skills are required. Reporting to the General Manager, you must be totally customer focused, have an eye for detail and will be responsible for cost control, forecasting, budgeting recruitment and payroll.
Main Tasks:
o Recruitment, supervision and training of all housekeeping personnel
o Manage the Housekeeping budget, ensuring control of cost and wages
o Organise all rotas, staff holidays, overtime etc
o Ensuring the highest standards of guest care and comfort
o Inspecting and supervising the work of the Deputy Housekeeper, Floor Housekeepers, Room Attendants, Cleaners and
