A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Therapist is essential and applicants must have a NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy or equivalent qualification. Previous experience in Hot Stones, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage, Intimate Waxing or Ear Candling would be an advantage.
This is a full-time permanent position however we are willing to consider part time applicants. You will be required to work some evenings and weekends.

As part of the team you will be required to work on alternate weekends on contracts starting from 7.5 hours
Working every 2nd weekend as part of the team you will support people with learning disabilities and/or associated conditions and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of adults at risk.
All training will be provided although QCF/RQF level 2 would be desirable but not essential. Induction and initial training will be provided during the week and a commitment to this induction would be expected. Ongoing training supported by Les Amis.
Salary from £12.32 - £14.28 ph dependant on qualification. Driving licence whilst not essential is desirable. A DBS will be completed upon appointment.

We have a vacancy for a Minibus Driver in our Play Care Unit, La Pouquelaye, which caters for children aged 4-14 years. You will be working alongside the existing teams to undertake after-school pick-ups of children and transporting them to our central site for later collection by parents. Permanent term-time only 10 hours a week. 2pm – 4pm (Monday-Friday). Flexibility to work early mornings as overtime, before school runs in addition to these contract. Trainee Biomedical Scientist at States of Jersey
Applications are invited for the post of trainee biomedical scientist from graduates with an Institute of Biomedical Science accredited degree (or completing IBMS approved top up modules). This is a 2 year training contract post in Microbiology, during which the successful applicant will be expected to complete an IBMS pre-registration portfolio, attain the certificate of competence and become HCPC registered. Upon registration this will be come a permanent post.
Training and support will be given to the successful candidate.
There are two posts, on HCPC registration they will be expected to complete an IBMS specialist portfolio, one in Microbiology and one in Virology, whilst working as a biomedical scientist. Previous experience of working in a medical laboratory is essential.
