Applicants will need to demonstrate that they have the ability to acquire the necessary skills to handle and home the dog through training and also to subsequently pass and maintain renewal of the Drugs Detector dog handler licence. Five GCSE’s /equivalent or similar work experience is required along with a good standard of human relation skills when dealing with the general public. Confirmation of the post is subject to passing the 6 month training period. This post is fixed term for 4 years.
