This role focuses primarily on the operational support of software and associated technical infrastructure. Working in the Internal Systems team this role provides technical support to the global business users’ core application set.Solid experience of Microsoft 2003/2008 Server and related technologies.Server administration and management of Microsoft technologies (i.e. patch management)
Experience with VMware ESX(i) technology; ability to install, configure, manage and troubleshoot this core infrastructure
Understanding of Microsoft Active Directory and associated technologies (Group Policy, DHCP, DNS, IIS)
Understanding of Citrix/TS/RDS administration
Experience of Microsoft Exchange (2007 or 2010)
Server hardware installation and troubleshooting skills
Understanding of backup / restore technologies and processes
