The post holder is responsible for
• All aspects of mail management in and out of office, including hand deliveries in St Helier, but excluding emails and faxes.
• The administration of the archive systems, ensuring that files are archived within 3 working days.
• Assisting the receptionist at busy times, taking and recording phone calls and dealing with clients
The job does entail a certain level of physical activity and therefore a reasonable standard of physical fitness is required.
The person will have :-
• Good interpersonal skills including a good telephone manner.
• Good organisation skills
• Familiarity with computers and the use of word and Excel. Training will be provided on other programmes
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• A basic knowledge of routine maintenance tasks

Hours: 35 a week over 5 days
