The Employment Forum welcomes applications for an employee representative member. Applicants must have;
- recent experience of employee issues in the workplace as an employee, or as a member of a trade union or staff association and
- an interest in employment law, particularly in relation to the minimum wage.
The Forum is an independent body that consults and makes recommendations to the Minister for Social Security on employment legislation, including the minimum wage. Meetings are held once per month on average. Members are appointed for a three year term of office. This is an unpaid position.
