Qualified and registered Social Worker are required for the Community Social Work Team. The ideal candidate will have relevant, up to date experience in Child Protection investigations and case work, initiating care proceedings, and working with Looked After Children. Main duties include, managing a complex caseload, undertaking core assessments, court statements, care plans, report writing and other general social work duties.
The postholder will provide a comprehensive assessment, support and protection service to children and young people in Jersey, and their carers, and to access resources so as to manage risk and meet identified needs. To contribute to the delivery of the day to day working of social work services i.e. practice, guidelines and team development.
