You will be required to have a police check. Reporting to the Nursery Manager, the principal role of the Cook is to manage a budget and create menus, special dietary requirements, stock ordering and the preparation of meals for children in our care aged 2-5 years in a clean, healthy environment. It is essential the kitchen meets the regulations set down by Environmental Health Dept and Registration Requirements specified by ESandC.
A minimum of 2 years post qualifying experience working in a cooking/food preparation role is required and you must hold an NVQ Level 2 Certificate in Food Preparation and Cooking and an Intermediate Food Hygiene Qualification (or willing to work towards this).
