An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated Deputy Charge Nurse or Sister / Nurse Specialist in Oncology to work within a busy out-patient chemotherapy service delivering specialised care and support to cancer patients and their families.
The successful candidate will be expected to be able to deliver and develop specialist services within chemotherapy and as part of a MDT. This will involve developing and maintaining a high clinical profile and presence; and acting as role model for other nursing staff. If the successful candidate is able to demonstrate sufficient experience at a senior level it will be expected that the role will also act as key support to the department manager.
