The successful applicant will undertake surveillance, monitoring and inspection of vessels and shore activities and take appropriate enforcement action as required. They will be responsible for the administration of various licensing schemes designed to safeguard fishing stocks and manage the marine environment. They will also assist in the delivery of various routine scientific monitoring programmes.
