An opportunity has arisen to join our friendly, multidisciplinary team. We are looking for an enthusiastic, self motivated nurse with good organisation and management skills. The service provides a variety of x-ray and ultrasound guided procedures that include vascular angioplasty, vascular and oesophageal stenting, biopsies, drainages and diagnostic procedures. The work involves holding pre-procedure clinics; scrubbing for procedures; organising the patient's pre- and post-procedure care and stock management; liaison with other clinical/nursing teams, and developing the service to ensure all the relevant standards are met. Time is also spent working with the CT scanning team. Training will be provided as necessary.
